The ayce sushi deal is $26.99 per person (dinner/weekend price). You get 3 rounds I'm assuming (they gave us 3 ayce order sheets). The rolls are nicely light on the rice and heavy on the filling. The salmon is a bit softer in texture than I would like, but the eel is very good. If you're doing ayce, be warned that the rolls are on the bigger side (a good thing if you're paying by roll, but a bit of an obstacle if you're doing ayce). We also tried the miso soup, vegetable tempura, fried gyoza, and crab rangoon (not getting the high-value items in the ayce menu, I know, but we were craving them :P). The miso soup is very good and intense. Vegetable tempura and fried gyoza tasted nice, pretty standard. Crab rangoon also tasted very good. All rolls and appetizers were made fresh (the tempura was so hot it burned my tongue when I first bit into it!). I would recommend any roll that contains eel. Some of the cucumber tasted bitter though. The inside is moderately sized, on the smaller side. Only big complaint is the service. They seem a bit disorganized/inefficient. We waited for a bit when we first came in despite there being empty tables since they hadn't been cleared and cleaned yet (maybe a bunch of people all left at the same time, but that seems unlikely). Also, the waiter brought us items that another table ordered multiple times. (The first time, he just sat it down on our table and we had to tell him it wasn't ours, but he started checking after that, which was nice of him.) The order sheet did have a place to fill in your table number, but our actual table had no number (we even checked under the table to make sure a table number sign hadn't fallen off). The table beside us didn't look like it had a table number either, perhaps contributing to the mixup. I think this place would benefit from hiring more employees (they seemed quite busy as it got later/more concretely dinner time, both in-person and takeout) and making sure there are clear table number signs present. Definitely looking forward to coming back again, although perhaps for the lunch ayce instead. The extra rolls available on the dinner ayce don't hold enough appeal to me to justify the higher price (although it is a pretty good price for ayce sushi).

Hard to find cheap sushi in Chicago that actually tastes quality, but sushi para kills it!! Great bang for your buck: tons of apps and variety of makimono, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. Will definitely be going back.

Let me preface my review by saying I am a sucker for a good AYCE deal ... but I absolutely loved my experience at Sushi Para. 27$ for all you can eat sushi, AND the nigiri is included for no charge?? count me in!! This place is also BYOB which is super nice, and also makes it cost effective. My buddy and I brought a 6 pack to enjoy with our meal. Pro tip, bring something light so you don't waste space for the bottomless sushi! I got a couple of rolls which were pretty solid but really leaned into the nigiri to get the most possible fish for my dollar. As I very much enjoy milking the value of AYCE, here is a breakdown of what I got for my $27 and the cost it would've been if I came and ordered al la cart. 2x miso soup - 5/5 - $4 value 1x rainbow roll - 4/5 - $15 value 1x giant eel roll -3/5 - $11 value 2x Spicy Tuna Roll - 4/5 - $20 value 10x Tuna nigiri - 5/5 - $30 value 15x salmon nigiri - 5/5 - $45 value 4x Yellowtail - 4/5 - $12 value 2x Mackeral - 4/5 - $4 value TOTAL - $141 worth of sushi Damn... this is my first time adding it all up haha. As you can see though, just so much bang for my buck. Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared, and the service staff came around frequently to place new orders. Make sure to come on an empty stomach, and maybe i'll see you here! I will be frequenting this spot

Excellent sushi takeout and very reasonable prices! The pop up roll and sweet potato roll were both amazing! They have a great dinner special that makes it super affordable. Can't wait to come back!
